Repair Warranty Terms

All of our repairs are covered by the “Wisephone Lifetime Guarantee” except the rear camera lens and back glass repairs. This warranty covers the parts used in the repair for the entirety of the time they are installed on the device. If any part installed ever stops working, bring it back, and we will replace the part free of charge. Our warranty does not cover parts that have been damaged in any way. All of the parts used in repairs come with a unique identifier that allows us to tell it apart from other parts. If this identifier is removed or damaged in any way, your warranty is considered void. Having your device repaired in any way by a different shop after we repair it will immediately void any warranty on the device. We offer warranty repairs only, no refunds. Our warranty do not cover any issues that are the result of physical or liquid damage to the device while in your possession after the date of the invoice.

Things that void your warranty:
– Having the device fixed in any way by a different shop after being repaired by Wisephone ER
– Damaging any parts used in a repair
– Removing or damaging the unique identifier placed on the part during repair
– Allowing the device to come into contact with water after it is repaired

In bringing your personal device for maintenance or repair to Wisephone ER, you agree to the following:
Having the device repaired by Wisephone ER will likely void any, and all remaining manufacturer warranties remaining on the device.
Due to the nature of electronics repair, Wisephone ER employees may not be able to accurately identify hidden issues inside your electronic equipment. Consequently, we cannot be held responsible for devices that develop more functional problems after repair. By agreeing to these terms you release Wisephone ER from all liability related to your electronic equipment. You are responsible for making sure that any critical data is backed up before bringing your device to Wisephone ER and for providing copies of any licensed software if necessary. By agreeing to these terms you agree to unlock your device, so we can perform preliminary tests on your device that are required to determine the functionality of your device and assess what needs to be repaired. Wisephone ER will never attain or view any personal, or sensitive, information on your device. Most in-store repairs can be done in under 30 minutes and can be performed while you wait. Repairs that take longer can be dropped off and picked up at a later time. Mail-in repairs can be completed in 1-2 business days after receiving the device in the mail but in some cases may take longer. Equipment not picked up and/or not paid for after thirty (30) calendar days will become sole property of Wisephone ER.

Please Note: Having the device repaired by Wisephone ER will likely void any, and all remaining manufacturer warranties remaining on the device. It is impossible to reseal a device perfectly after repairing it. By agreeing to these terms you understand that your device will not be water-proof anymore in any way.

Deposits

There is no up-front payment required for repairs that require parts that we keep in stock regularly. We will require a non-refundable deposit for repairs that will require parts to be ordered. The deposit will be the price of the part and will not be refunded for any reason. It is the customers responsibility to bring their device back to the store for repair once the part is in. You will receive notification via email or text message when the part is in stock. Mail-in repairs will require nothing up front, but the full cost of the repair must be paid prior to the device being mailed back. If the device is unable to be repaired the customer must pay the diagnostic fee as outlined in this document. The device will not be returned until the entire bill is paid.

Diagnostics

I agree to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE diagnostic fee of $30 to Wisephone ER for attempting to repair my device. If repairable, the diagnostic fee goes toward the repair. In the event that a simple part replacement isn’t enough to repair the issue you’re having, the original parts will be reinstalled and the cost will be the diagnostic fee only. If we inspect your device in any way to identify any issues, we will require this fee.

Damages

In the event that your device is irreparably damaged by one of our technicians, we will issue you a suitable replacement device. By agreeing to these terms you agree to accept a device of equal or less value, which will be determined by Wisephone ER, as compensation if this occurs. 

Used Phone Warranty

All of our used devices include a 3 month (90 day) warranty. This warranty covers the device in the event that is (or becomes) defective during the warranty period. Our warranty does not cover parts that have been damaged in any way. As most of our devices are refurbished, we do not cover warranty claims for unoriginal parts having been installed on the device or the conditions associated with them. All of the devices come with a unique identifier that allows us to tell it apart from other devices. If this identifier is removed or damaged in any way, your warranty is considered void. Having your device repaired in any way by a different shop after we repair it will immediately void any warranty on the device. We offer warranty repairs only, no refunds. Our warranty do not cover any issues that are the result of physical or liquid damage to the device while in your possession. We do not accept returns outside of this warranty as outlined in the cancellations returns & refunds section of this document.

Things that void your warranty:
– Having the device fixed in any way by a different shop after being repaired by Wisephone ER
– Damaging the phone (minor wear is covered)
– Removing or damaging the unique identifier placed on the part during repair
– Allowing the device to come into contact with water

It is the buyers responsibility to confirm the compatibility of any device they purchase with the carrier they are using.

Please Note: Most of our devices are refurbished in some way. This will likely void any, and all remaining manufacturer warranties remaining on the device. It is impossible to reseal a device perfectly after repairing it. By agreeing to these terms you understand that your device will not be water-proof in any way.

Shipping

Shipping is done daily before 2pm EST. While we try to offer same day shipping on all of our products and services, this is not something we can guarantee. Refunds will not be given for any shipping delays that may occur. We ship with USPS exclusively and will not ship with any other carrier. Shipping insurance must be requested and paid for by the buyer or it will not be used. If a package is marked as delivered, but the buyer claims they did not receive it, a refund will not be given. The shipping options we offer are as follows, USPS First Class, USPS Priority, & USPS Priority Express. Priority Express packages are not guaranteed to arrive in 1 business day. All packages going to the same address will be packed together unless a request to pack separately is received by the buyer. If the buyer needs a change of address, and paid with paypal, we will have to refund the buyer in full, which will result in forfeiture of the 3% paypal fee. This fee will be held from the refund. The buyer then must submit a new payment with the proper address attached. We reserve the right to follow this change of address procedure regardless of the payment method/provider used. 

Cancellations, Returns, & Refunds

We typically do not accept cancellation requests, but in the event that we do, there will be a 3% fee assessed and withheld from the refunds. We will accept returns that are considered to be due to buyers remorse within 30 days of the purchase date. Buyers remorse returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, which is 20% of the total price. All items must be returned in the condition received. We reserve the right to withhold a portion of the refund, which we will solely determine, to cover any damage or wear the item was returned with. All refunds will be done via the payment method used at checkout.
